So, May is on Thursday, anyone else shocked? I was looking at my call schedule this week for work and did a “whaaaaat is that on Thursday, it looks like another month starting, no, couldn’t be, April, no, shit, it’s May, it’s May on THURSDAY. MAY. Good Gawd May is Thursday”
Our months of child free living are coming to a conclusion…I can hardly believe it. One of the things on my 101 list of things to do was to go on purchase freeze for 30 days. Where I buy nothing but essential food items and gasoline. I figure this particular task will be very difficult with Lexi around so I should try to knock it out before she makes her appearance and I think May is the day. So just to clear up any confusion on what falls into this category I’ve made a short list:
- Clothing for any member of our family. Born or Unborn. Deal or Steal or Sale.
- Starbucks (exceeding the $25 gift card that I have in my possession)
- Target…I will be without you for 30 days….I apologize to share holders for the dip in your income statements.
- Amazon.com I will not even visit your site and this saddens me for I will not receive packages at my door.
- Mall I will catch you in June…the 1st of June I will be there to find something to wear at the shower. That’s a Sunday, June 1st Mall trip. The day is blocked.
- Lunches out, I’m sorry, but you’re out like Heidi Klum says. We have one dinner out planned at the club for FH business…but that won’t count.
Is anyone else noticing how long the month of May is. It’s a 31 day month. Maybe I should not be so ambitious. Maybe two 15 day bursts would do it? That’s wrong. I will step up. I will do this.

If Target can survive ME not being there, it’ll be fine. Today marks Day 24 since I’ve been there. Target is 3 minutes from where I live. I drive by it several times a day. It’s CALLING ME!!

And, I actually had to look at my calendar to make sure Thursday really IS May. I believed you, but I had to see for myself.

And I can’t believe it’s May already either! Friday I will be 20 weeks already and we will find out if I have a penis or no penis. I’m already 1/2 way there! This year is going too fast.
So, I’m sure this is not what congress was thinking when they approved the economic stimulus package. Unless yours, like mine, is already gone.
Oh, and thank goodness May is Thursday. Can it be tomorrow? huh? oh, pleeeeeze! I need warmer weather. Sunshine that is more than just a tease.
