This week has kinda sucked a little, yes? I mean everyone I read has had a crappy week for the most part…I tried really hard to turn it around and with very minimal success I must say. So it’s Friday and I think that calls for a celebration!
Here’s what I’ve got today:
- Can you hear the word Celebrate and NOT think about that “Celebrate good times, come on!” song? Because if you can, you are better then I. I can not stop it and even Happy Birthday isn’t stopping it.
- My cats do not understand what the heck is going on but they are very pissed off that there is no longer room for them on my lap when the laptop is also on the lap….I wonder what they are thinking sometimes.
- Working from home is SO fantastic. One of the best parts is when Teddy comes downstairs from his morning bed nap (which incidentally lasts from 7:30-12:00) and he comes into the living room where I’m working and he gives his little cat hello and he’s all surprised and he gives me this look like “I HAD NO IDEA you were HERE all this TIME! How’d I get so lucky, here let me let you pet me while I try to squeeze on your lap.”
- I need to find a good blue cheese dipping sauce because I bought Chicken fingers for dinner tonight and I really need good dipping sauce but I really like the kind you get WITH chicken wings and not the too tangy variety…would it be wrong to go to the pizza place and just ask for a side of blue cheese?
- I still can’t seem to stop thinking about Puff Paint and the grandparents are away so I’ll have to wait until they get back from their cruise in order to get grandpa to scan in pictures of puff paint sweatshirts…better yet I’d bet that my Gram still HAS some puff paint sweat shirts.
- I went to Target yesterday and bought the new Dove body wash which is Grapefruit and Lemongrass fragrance and I found it so fresh and fantastic that I couldn’t wait to shower.
- I may have stopped at Gymoboree because they were having a great sale and I had a 40% off coupon and I couldn’t resist and I may have purchased the following outfits that I happen to have pictures of. This is all speculation of course.
- I don’t think I shared these but these little Nike’s are the cutest thing ever and my Mom bought them for little Lexi. Aren’t they so cute. I should give full disclosure that Lexi is actually the first baby ever to give a verbal agreement to go to a Division 1 school to play basketball ever.

Get thee to the supermarket and get Marzetti’s Ultimate Blue Cheese dressing (in the glass tub) – THE BEST ever.
And those shoes are adorable! I love baby shoes! Even if they never wear them ( don’t buy anymore..lol) they’re still so cute!
a couple things…
1) i agree with the marzetti’s
2) bring the pics to my house tomorrow when you come over and I can scan them in for you so you don’t have to wait until the grandparents get home from their cruise…plus your readers can. not. wait. to. see. such. pictures.
3) I bought the same outfit for LF from gymboree a couple weeks ago…the blue dress with the ducks…we’ll have to get a picture of both of them this summer!!!
4) sneaks are entirely too cute!!!
I LOVE little shoes…Ethan’s first pair of shoes were navy Vans. He now has some striderites and brown boots…I can’t wait for sandal season!!
I, too, am optomistic for this weekend, this week was a doozy for everyone it seems. I try to put it in perspective, but really, it sucked. Have a good Friday!
