Today is the last day of November…just in case you didn’t know

Today is the last day of the month – lots of things associated with the last day of the month are coming up.  Bills to pay, Stuff to do, Monthly cleaning items finally checked off the list, Clean the Fridge, Etc, Etc, Etc.  Most importantly this is the last day that I will be forcing myself to blog.  I’m glad.  I didn’t like this exercise.  I don’t know that I will do it again – clearly I am not one for the every day challenge.  It’s too rigid for me and it caused a huge void in my brain where usually I say “I should blog about this.” in November I said “Could I blog about this?  This insignificant moment of nothing?  Is this Blog Worthy?”

I’ve also decided that the December list of things to do will be the BEST month ever.  And 2008’s list with a monthly goal – well, let me just tell you – you should be sitting on the edge of your seat.

I have something to complain about, I was talking to a friend of mine on IM this morning and I pointed out how much Project Runway irritates me in one specific way.  Everyone always loves the Asian women – and assumes, before she’s sewn a stitch that she’ll be meticulous and clean lines, and modern and really really diligent and she’ll know the female body.  Now, I have a few friends that are Asian Women, who I LOVE and adore.  LOVE.  Seriously – this isn’t a stigma here.  My friends do not represent clean lines (sorry ladies, you don’t…and you own it, god bless you), they are not particularly into the detail (again, you know this about you and you embrace it).   Am I the only one who sees this?  Am I nuts? (Don’t answer that particular question)  Well, it’s just something that became glaringly apparent last night as I watched the Rawnway on DVR.  I try really hard to not like Heidi – but I do…she’s just so damn likable for a skinny, perfect bodied, foreign accented, super model…it’s disturbing.
