My FH does this really fun thing called the fake choke scene. Where he pretends to choke on something – this scene is played out on average of 4 times a week. And he thinks its hilarious. It’s one of those When a Boy Calls Wolf moments where you no longer even react to his rather obnoxious over the top display.
Today I realized that I should state this for the world. If he ever dies of Choking (god forbid – and it’s highly unlikely as I would notice him turning blue and would save him) it’s not my fault (or my Fabulous MIL – she’s often the audience to these scenes but equally quick so she’d save him upon blueness).
There is a point. Today during his choke scene he said “Even if I was choking I could still breath” – which I thought was hilarious – did he think he could breath out of his nose or perhaps his ears. Good thing his little scenes are always that – a scene.
**Please note I understand choking is awful and that it’s a serious subject and I’m not making fun of anyone that has actually ever choked or has seen someone choke – as it’s traumatic – I know, I’ve saved a person from choking at a restaurant and it scared the crap out of me.
