House NOT for sale.

Our House is no longer for sale.  Selling a house is very busy business – it’s stressful.  Being out of your house, cleaning constantly, making the bed, doing the dishes, not living underwear all over the bedroom.  On top of that the market is not good.  The offers we received on our house were very low…far lower then we could accept given the amount we paid for our unit….and we weren’t getting good looks at the house – traffic was slow and the holiday’s are approaching and it’s getting cold.

So we’re staying in Westchester for a while.  And while this isn’t exactly what we planned I’m excited and glad and greatful for the stability and that elephant that was screaming “WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO LIVE” left our house last night and it was a fond departure.  We’re going to make some minor improvements to our house and depending on our situation may consider finishing the basement so we can have more living space.  We’ll be just fine.  So I am glad.  I love my office, my work, my cats, my husband, my family, my friends and life is good.

The ease of which I am breathing knowing that the lockbox is off the front door and there will be no more strangers in my house when I am not home is fantastic.  Deep breath in – Deep breath out.

  1. YAY! I’m happy you’re staying. I hate driving on the thruway.
