So I realized today that one week from today I’ll be responsible for the following
- My next Monthly to-do a day list
- One month from today I will be participating in NaBloPoMo
This brings me to my topic of choice. Sand Bagging. Is this a term you are familiar with? If you have played Gin Rummy with me then you should be. I am an INFAMOUS Sand Bagger. Here is how the wiki says it:
In games and adversarial settings, to “sandbag” is to intentionally understate one’s strength, with the intention of deceiving one’s opponents into overreaching. The sandbagger can then reveal a hidden strength to take the opponent by surprise.
Do you sand bag in blogging? Do you have loads of posts all saved and ready for you to push publish? Are you sand bagging right now? Because this concept just dawned on me last night, late….that hey…I shouldn’t publish too much in a day…I should start sand bagging. And then I realized that this isn’t Gin Rummy. I don’t have an opportunity to suffer an awful loss. This is my blog. Just take a deep breath and relax.
