Things I think about while running.

So I’ve been running again. It feels good.  I always think this when I start running again – that this high is great and why did I ever stop pushing my body by running?  Saying to myself that I’m not going to stop is not realistic but I need to remind myself by saying.  This feels good. Keep going.  Just go.  Lace up.

When I am on the treadmill the things that cross my mind is really random….so I thought I would share some of the thoughts from my 5k last night- in list format, big shocker:

  • Why does Rachel Ray always make something that looks almost like something you’d eat and then she throws something gross in.  Come on, Rach just grill a piece of chicken.
  •  1K -it’s only been 1 freaking k – what the hell.  seriously it’s been forever.
  • How long are those people working out on the Biggest Looser?  Seriously to loose 15lbs in a week….or hell 4…would I actually have to be able to run while working?
  • I’m tired.  Tired.  I can feel tired in my toes.
  • Do they teach the Bachelor to kiss?  To do the soap opera kiss?  Do they?  It’s just so romantic and well melty…
  • Did I send that e-mail?  did I. I THINK I did….well, I’m pretty sure…wait  maybe I didn’t.  I don’t think I did.  Shit.  I had to send it.  I did.  I must have.  Right?  Yeah.  Yeah, you did.
  • Monday’s over.  Tuesday’s tomorrow – then it’s Wednesday all of a sudden it will be Thursday…then it’s Friday which is cake and then it’s the weekend.  So really it’s like it’s almost over.  4 more days.  You can do this.  4 days.
  • You have M&M’s at home….even if you don’t eat them…they are still yours.  Hahahhhaaa (most evil laugh)
  • It’s been 4k.. yeah.  1k to go. this is amazing
  • at 4.5k k- Lance Armstrong spoke to me – this is AMAZING.  Thanks for cheering me on Lance.  I agree.  I am going fast.
