In an effort to be more dull I’m going to tell you about my Oatmeal realization this week. I love Oatmeal…Apple Cinnamon to be specific and that is in fact the ONLY kind of oatmeal that I like. For breakfast I am known to eat 2 packets of the Quaker Low Sugar Apple & Cinnamon because 1 packet alone does not do it for me. Recently I tried the new Quaker Simply Harvest Oatmeal because it’s advertised as being more Whole Grainy – Oatmeal like…which to be honest you don’t get from the Quaker Low Sugar Mush. While I liked the more grain like whole Oat texture the flavour was too sweet and almost syrupy…so this morning I had a light bulb moment… I would use one packet of Low Sugar and one packet of Simple Harvest and it was FANTASTIC! It was the perfect mixture of good mush and whole little oatmeals – not too sweet not too bland. I feel like freaking goldie locks here. This one is too dull, This one is too sweet, this one is JUST RIGHT.
